Third Day of in : Aid Distributed to 1,800 Families

Friday, April 24, 2026

The of food assistance to families in Kamdesh district of Nuristan province has reached its third day. Today as well, aid was distributed to 1,800 families from various villages in the Oor Maro and Kamu areas of the district. The consisted of flour, cooking oil, lentils, salt, and handwashing soap.

The assistance is being delivered in joint coordination of the , the , and .

A total of 17,000 affected families in Kamdesh and Barg-e-Matal districts are expected to receive this assistance.
