Palestinians in Gaza say lives will be destroyed by Israels NGO ban

Displaced people in Gaza warn new restrictions on aid groups will lead to catastrophe in the devastated enclave.

Israel said it will suspend permits for more than three dozen aid organisations for allegedly failing to meet new requirements for operating in war-devastated Gaza, a move likely to worsen already dire conditions for Palestinians in the enclave.

Organisations facing bans as of January 1, 2026 have failed to meet new requirements for sharing detailed information about their staff, funding and operations, Israeli authorities said on Tuesday.

These agencies must have been effective. (Will post feature length link after I view it.)

2025 was really a horrible year for the world. It was a year where MAGA, Kahanism, Hindutva etc ruled supreme. Genocidal wars, misinformation, the backlash against , , , have been legitimised & the international rules based order has all but collapsed. These trends promise to continue in 2026. There's little to look forward to on Dec 31. But I want to retain critical hope - the need to reimagine better futures through the lens of equity & justice.
